- Hi, my name is Holden, Holden Caulfield. I'm the guy with the winter hat. And all those boys, are from the fencing team, and they are hating me for lost all their equipment.

- Umm, I forgot it. It was something like Jean Gallagher
- Jane Gallagher! I will be talking to her if I wasn't so stupid
- This is Mr. Spencer, he wanted me to visit him, and I know that he invited me to give me a long talk about responsibility and all that things. Well, I deserved it, because Pency Prep expelled me.

- These two guys are Ackley kid and Stradlater, they hate each other, that makes this fun. Ackley just came to annoy me, but I don't care, and, Stradlater had a date, so I don't know why he is here.

- Jane Gallagher! OMG! I really liked her, she's so pretty!
- Ackley kid leave me alone in the room, and I got bored, so, I came here to see Stradlater, I wanted to know something about his date, and his answer just... SHOCKED ME.

- I finished the goddam English composition for Stradlater. I was so mad at him, I hate him! He thinks he is perfect when he is all the opposite!
