- Haha this is so fun!
- Lizabeth was very childlike during this time of her life. She does not think about what the consequences are for her actions, has with fun local kids from her neighborhood, and is approaching her adulthood. In the scene above Lizabeth is throwing rocks with her brother, Joey at Miss Lottie's marigolds
- Joey is fast asleep, while Lizabeth is having a hard time falling asleep. She over hears her parents talking about how bad their family financial situation really is.
- After grasping in some real life issues, Lizabeth wakes up Joey and climbs out of the bedroom window. She is all confused of the emotions that full fill her. She is sad, depressed, scared, mad, and confused. Lizabeth can't take in all of her emotions so she decides to take it out on Miss Lottie's marigolds. After she calmed down a bit she felt bad for what she had just done. Lizabeth had no words.
