- Odysseus and his crew arrive to the Land of the Dead that Circe directed them.
- After Odysseus arrive to underworld, He swore to sacrifice black lamb, handsomest of all our flock, He pledged these rites to slashed the lamb and ewe letting their black blood stream into the wellpit.
- I see destruction for ship and crew. Though you survive alone, bereft all companions lost for years, under strange sail shall you come home.
- While Odysseus was in the underworld he sees a old member Elpenor. Elpenor tells Odysseus how he died and that he would appreciate a proper burial.
- Penelope and Telemachu are still grieving for Odysseus and his father, Laertes has moved to the country
- Then Odysseus met Anticlea, Odysseus mother, daugther of Autolycus
- Tiresias tells Odysseus what the future holds before him.
- Before leaving the under world, Her mother speaks about what happend in Ithaca
- She died in broken heart
- After speaking with the spirits of many great ladies and men who died, as well as those who were being punished for their earthly sin, Odysseus and his crew set sail.
