- What is happening to mom?
- T-T-THEY TOOK HER!
- YES-S-S!
- WHAT? I-I'm gonna go.
- Dad. what happened to mom?
- W-Why? Was she different like me?
- You don't know what a mint is? We are all candy canes, there are a lot of flavors but the only kind allowed are the Mint ones. They get rid of non-mints by taking them away and grinding them into dust. President MM made sure of this and he made a thing called "Swirl Around" so police officers can check houses every 10 years for non-mints.
- A Mint? What do you mean?
- Hey kid! What are you doing out here? I can tell your not Mint.
- Wait, that's so wrong! Why hasn't anybody stopped him?
- Well can you and your friends come here tomorrow? I want to do something.
- Ms. Bubblegum tried, but she got grinded too. Me and my friends honor her everyday
- Charlie ran back home and up to his room and started to create signs. Knowing that other people lose their loved ones just because their a different flavor makes him mad. And knowing only Ms.Bubblegum was the only one who tried stopping this made him even more mad.

- The next day, Charlie and the lady's friends met up in the same area he came crying to and started protesting. Charlie wanted to call the group "We Are All Candy Canes" and wanted to spread the message "we are all candy canes, why should one be grinded just because they're a different flavor?"
