- I am sorry my wife. I want to go in search of fortune in the New World.
- We'll be headin' to Tortuga, then in search of buried treasure!
- No need to worry. After the Thirty Years Year, the Spanish have been in great financial trouble. They wouldn't risk approaching us.
- Captain! I spot a Spanish vessel ahead!
- Tortuga is an island we pirates use as a sort of outpost. We share it with the French, because we both hate the Spanish. I guess the enemy of our enemy is our friend.
- My ship is called a Brig. It has two masts, and is a popular choice for pirates, because it is fast and has good handling. It can also be used for many different things.
- Great! Spanish Gold! My friend informed me about this place, and it was true!
