- At age 14, Alexander found two men trying to tame a horse. They were going to kill it because they thought It couldn't be tamed. Alexander said something along the lines of "its a shame a horse will die because the men can't tame it." Then, he tamed the horse leaving everyone astonished.
- Alexander was named commander of the army at age 16. This helped him with battle tactics and practicality.
- Alexanders dad, Philip died in 336 BC because he was stabbed at a wedding. Alexander then took over the throne and the army at 20 years old.He remaind king for 13 years - the point of his death.
- In 334, Alexander moved his troops south to expand his army into Persia. They defeated Persia and gained lots of land.
- Alexander was the cultural diffusion mastermind. He dress, acted, and followed Persian religion. He did this to the point that he and his soldiers married Persian women. He did this in hope that they wouldn't rebel.
- Alexander died in 323 BC from malaria. He wanted to continue to expand, but his troops made him return home because he was sick. He died in Babylon and did not get to Greece.
