- I shall go to my friend, little moles house
- little hedgehog was making bed when a storm began to blow. it blew away his bed.
- on the way to his friends house, he came across a cold little family of mice .little hedgehog was a kind soul he removed his warm, woolly hat and gave it to them.
- here you can have my hat as a nest
- then he moved on. a little further, he met an otter with cold paws.
- otter quickly grabbed the mittens and looked gratefully at the hedgehog. with paws warmed by the mittens, he waved at the hedgehog as he walked ahead
- here, take my mittens
- further on the way, hedgehog met a mama deer and her baby. he was saddened to see the little fawn shivering as the cold wind blew harder and harder. he quickly removed his scarf and gave it to her.
- after a while, the animals thought of a plan . they said "lets surprise the hedgehog as he helped us all risking his life, so we have to surprise him with a new house and give him a new set of clothes ! all the animals hid to surprise him. the hedgehog returned and was shocked to see a new house and a new set of woolen clothes. the animals came out of their hiding places and yelled "surprise!" the little hedgehog thanked them all.mole nodded in approval. he too learned a lesson in gratitude from his big hearted friend , little hedgehog.
