Storyboard Text
"They're right ahead."
"Be ready."
"Don't fire until you see the white's of their eyes".
On June 17, 1775 British troops march to go fight Colonists on Breed's Hill.
"Firing!"
Colonists are waiting on the top of Breed's Hill for British troops with their leaders, William Prescott and Joseph Warren
"It's alright."
Prescott tells his men "Don't fire until you see the white's of their eyes" because they needed to conserve their limited supply of ammunition.
Haha! We did it!
British troops and the Colonists began the fight.
3 times after the British walked up the hill the Colonists had to retreat because they were outnumbered.
British won so they get to keep control of the city and control its valuable seaport.
