- Scene 1: Arriving at Mars
- Polit:Welcome to Mars Have a great stay!
- Dark they Were Golden Eyed.
- It's going to be fine. Let's just have a good.
- Scene 2: Martians
- Nonsense, it's impossible.
- Father, I think there are some Martians living in the mountains.
- Scene 3: Atom Bombs Hit New York!
- Father! Atom Bombs Hit New York! All the space rockets blown up! I heard it on the radio!
- Oh no! That means we are stuck here forever on Mars.
- The Bitterings landed on Mars. Mr. Bittering is worried and doesn't want to stay on Mars, but Cora said 'chin up Harry, 'its too late we came over sixty million miles let's try to enjoy it!
- Scene 4: Plants are Different
- "Cora these blossoms do you see? They are really different the have changed they are not like peach blossoms anymore!
- I don't see any difference.
- "Cora your eyes, how long have they been gold?
- David Bittering said "I think I see things moving around in those towns, father. I wonder if those Martians mind us living here".
- Scene 5: Their Transformation
- Have I always been this skinnier?
- Laura Bittering came running through the settlement, crying she said "Atom Bombs Hit New York"!
- Scene 6: Now Martians
- I know Right. It's so hideous.
- I can't believe those humans call those houses, they are hideous.
- Harry starts gets even more worried because the plants are turning different colors and different smell.
- Harry and Cora started realizing that they are getting darker they got tall and slim, and their eyes changed to gold.
- The Bittering Family are now Martians after five years of living on Mars. They don't even remember their true identity.
