- I was born in Larue County, KY on February 12th 1809 with my mom Nancy, and my dad Thomas, and my older sister Sarah and later my younger brother Thomas but a short time after my little brother Thomas was born he died of infancy.
- I lived in a log cabin before I was elected with my wife Mary, and my 4 sons Robert, Edward, William, and Tad.
- I was self taught and I worked at a store in New Salem, Illinois.
- Facts about my presidency: 1. I was the tallest president at 6 ft. 4 in. tall. 2. I set up a national banking system.
- I lived in a 2 story house and i built a republican party.
- I died in April 15th, 1865 in Washington D.C.
