- Anne begins her final diary entry with remarking on being called "Little bundle of contradictions." She asks what it even means. Like most words, it has two meanings.
- She then says she has a dual personality, one side being her better half. Her cheerfulness, and ability to take everything lightly. Whereas her other half is the one that usually shows, which is why people consider her insufferable.
- Shes scared this is the only way people will see her, and they'll never meet the nicer Anne.
- And when they do see her better, more sentimental half, they don't take her seriously.
- She says she's constantly trying to change herself, but shes fighting against her self doubts.
- She ends the final passage by expressing how upset she is because of her own family criticizing her for being in a bad mood.
