  • Mwahaha!
  • Aww, Snap...
  • We have more power than you!
  • Well, Joey, heres all the power for Massachusetts. I hope you do well, because I won't be able to help you very much...
  • Aren't we all from the same country?
  • Philadelphia
  • I have no ideas.
  • A-ha!
  • Hello, buddies! Let us fix these Articles of Confederation!
  • Hmm...
  • Finally!
  • The Articles of Confederation was a document that served as a constitution or government when America was still a new country. The individual states held more power than the central government.
  • The Articles of Confederation gave more power to the states than the federal government. This created disunity among states, and made them all like small separate countries.
  • The purpose of the Constitutional Convention of 1787 in Philadelphia was to change the Articles of Confederation. The founding fathers saw that federal power needed to increase in order to decrease weakness, thus the creation of the American Constitution.
