I'm trying to write my essay for science class about the cell theory and the history of it. I just don't understand it. Can you help me?
Of course I can Lola. The cell theory has three parts which are, all organisms are made up of one or more cells, cells are what organisms are structured and organized by, and cells come from existing cells.
Some of the scientists that had a big impact in discovering the theory were Theodor Schwann. Matthias Schleiden, and Sir Isaac Newton, Robert Hooke, Anton van Leeuwenhoek, Zacharias Janssen, and many more.
Each of these scientists were able to build off each other's ideas and discoveries in order to fully establish the cell theory. Microscopes and bacteria were discovered hundreds of years ago. Later, scientists had realized that plants and animals were made of cells.
So to wrap things up, the cell theory has three parts to it, was contributed to by many different scientists, and is the basic unit of structure and organization for all living organisms.
Notes1. The cell theory has three parts2. Was contributed to by many scientists3. Cells are the basic unit of life for all living organisms.
Well, alright Lola. That just about covers everything you need to know. You should be good to write your essay.
Thanks bro. I'm going to get a 100% on my paper.
