- Shlomo please help! My roommate and I live in a house together. I had given birth and 3 days later so did she. וַיְהִי בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי לְלִדְתִּי וַתֵּלֶד גַּם הָאִשָּׁה הַזֹּאת. One night, when we were alone in the house, she rolled over her baby while she was sleeping and killed it. She then switched the babies and gave me the dead one and kept the alive one for herself. I woke up in the morning and saw that my baby was dead, but then I realized that it wasn’t actually mine.

- They argue back and forth many times. Its also a rule that judges have to repeat to show they understand what happened.
- Okay, woman two, you claim that your son is alive and your roommate's is dead. But woman one, you say that the dead baby is woman two's and the alive son is yours
- No! Don’t give it to either one of us. Divide him!
- No, don't! Just give her the live baby and don’t kill him!
