Fahrenheit 451 - Montag's Dynamic Character
Storyboard Text
- After the firemen are called to burn down a massive collection of books, Montag witnesses a woman who decides to burn and die along with her precious books. He is shocked at the fact that she would rather kill herself than let the firemen burn all her books.
- Montag realizes that there is something more in these books than what the government is saying. Curious, he instinctively steals a book and hides it. Meanwhile, the fire grows larger, burning and destroying everything in its path.
- Montag begins collecting more and more books in an effort to try to understand their importance and meaning. He even tries to read them to his wife and her friends. Montag, who used to find joy in burning books, now valued them with his life which ultimately put him in danger.
