- Good morning, class! Today we will be learning and discussing about adaptation.
- Objective: Students will identify three species of bears, give examples of why certain habitats are suited for some animals but not others, and conclude that animals adapt in order to live where they do.

- On the board you will find three different species of bears (Polar, Grizzly, and Black) and their characteristics. Also, think about other animals and how they use their characteristics to live in their environments.

- In groups of 4, discuss the similarities and differences between the bears. Also, share and discuss why different animals have certain characteristics.
