- They disregarded their families to be with each other during those first few months when they were ecstatic castaways with two rented apartments and a tiny bed.
- We're husband and wives!!
- Yes, We are married. I'm so happy!
- Soon after, Michael expresses a desire to journey, giving Maya the impression that her spouse is with her, but not with her, due to his constant studying over geographies and uncovering his boots and coats.
- I want to trek.....
- Michael attempted a trek in Roopkund, a Himalayan lake, for one year but was unsuccessful caused of a lack of experience and severe weather.
- I'm returning to roopkind. This time, I'm more prepared.
- He's on his way out once more. I'm concerned. It's far too risky.
- Night before Michael departure..........
- The journey is not difficult. There will be no rain or snow once we arrive, and wildflowers will be abundant. Now is the time to relax. I'm going to be OK. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. I'll keep my word.
- After three days, Michael's body was discovered near the lake, with a shattered ankle and an indistinguishable face. They stated Michael was close to making it, but landslides, rain, and snowstorms distanced him from the rest of the group.
