- irony is the contrast between the ways things seem and the way they actually are. this is an example of irony because this girl thinks shes in Hawaii but she is actually just at a cool beach in Washington.

- This is an example of inference because the girl has an inference that she has something serious. The use of clues or hints to suggest events that will occur later in the plot.
- analagy
- this is an example of the idiom "tie the knot" like getting married an idiom s a phrase where the words together have different meaning than the dictionary definition of the individual words.
- motivation
- this is an example of an allusion because it is a brief reference to Joe Biden ( a famous person) allusion are an indirect and usually brief reference to a famous person, place, or event etc.

- this is an example of analogy because its compare joe biden and donald trump. analogy is the comparison of two simaler but different things
- this is an example of motivation because the girl is motivated to clean the barn because she knows she can go ride her horse after shes done.Motivation means: doing something because YOU want to - generated inside you
