- Hello my name is jack and i am 13 years old. I've always wanted a pet but my said always said i couldn't have one so when we went on our holiday to Fiji i met what would be my new pet rock, Bob.
- Bob also has 2 cousins. sedimentary rocks and metamorphic rocks. a sedimentary rock is a rock that is formed when particles mix in with the dead bodies of different organisms. then they are washed to sea and after a while alt of these particles and organisms stack up and the pressure forms a sedimentary rock
- Bob is an igneous rock. What that means is that it was formed when magma cools back into solid rock. magma is the hot liquid rock that spews out of a volcano when it erupts
- heat and pressure affects rocks in different ways. it can make rock and turn one rock into another. usually for heat and pressure to apply to a rock it either has to be under ground or be inside a volcano
- Bob's second cousin me metamorphic rock has a special ability to change into different types of rocks.when the metamorphic rock experiences great heat it turns to magma and then when this magma cools is then turns into igneous rocks. furthermore when it erodes it can then do the process to turn into an sedamentary rock

- when we went to our Fiji holiday we also went to this cool dinosaur museum. we saw a-lot of fossils of dinosaurs like the t-rex and that by far was my favorite
