Lupita gets up at 5 am and does some exercise. Then she gets ready for her day, opens the important documents she is working on. She never misses her cup of coffee to start her day with all her energy.
During the weekLupita has a meeting with a Spanish teacher to plan activities such as guides, worksheets and more.
In the break time between each class, Lupita does interviews with the students, talks about school, feelings and also if we need help. She tries to have a bond of trust and at the same time respect with the students.
When we are in class, so is Lupita. She reports on each one of them, observes who gives her opinion during class or if the group is very quiet. She also tries to pay attention to the teacher's instructions in case we have any doubts and she can help us with that.
Lupita has two more meetings. One involves all the high school chaperones. And another one where the third grade chaperones get together to plan the activities for their grade only.
As a chaperone you are responsible for conducting the CH class once a week. Therefore, some advance planning is required which everyone must agree upon since the activities are the same for all 3 sections.
