Storyboard Text

  • There are two types of mice in the mountains: black mice and grey mice.
  • Genetic Variation: the black mice pass their genes to the next generation because they survive more than the grey mice given the fact that these are less notable for the predators.
  • Overpopulation/Struggle for survival pressures, the black mice tends to survive more due to the eagles not being able to see them therefor the grey are more likely to die because they can easily be spotted in this scenario the selective pressure is the predators and their color.
  • Different survival: and reproductive: mice that inherit the black color tend to survive more and as that trait on to their offspring but somehow there will always be grey mice.
  • Change in the gene pool:every generation will have more black mice than the grey mice because it's an advantage used to survive in which the grey mice does not have so they will decrease in numbers so there would be more black than grey mice.
  • A few years later there will be at least one grey mouse with bunch of black mice.
