You cant wear that to get a job, they will look at you and immediately think your not good for the job
Person vs. Self
Should I give him all my money?? It could really help him and his family
Lyddie was cooking oatmeal in her cabin when she turned around and there was a bear in the doorway of the cabin. This is character vs. nature because Lyddie had to face a challenge of a bear being in her house. The bear is nature because it lives in nature and is part of it.
Lyddie arrives at the boarding house and is trying to get a job at a mill, but Mrs. Bedlow said she wouldn't get the job with the clothes she had on. This is because the people would look at her clothes and judge her and not give her the job because of it. This shows person vs. society because she has to fit into society by getting new clothes even if she is the most hardworking person ever.
Lyddie came back to her cabin from Cutler tavern and saw a slave in her cabin. She first thought about turning him in for the money but after meeting him, she felt bad and gave him all the money that she had so that he could get free and make it to Canada with his family.
