  • A lot of people die due to smoking. According to WHO, tobacco causes the 12 % of the deaths, and in Spain, a 23 % of the people smokes and it causes 52.000 anual deaths.
  • Most people who start smoking do so in adolescence or early adulthood as an act of rebellion or following the example of friends or other people close to them.

  • When a person tries tobacco, they are most likely to like it because cigarettes contain nicotine. Nicotine is one of the most addictive psychoactive substances out there. It is found naturally in tobacco leaves.
