During the play Hamlet can control his emotions from getting the better side of him resulting in the delay of the death of Claudius. Claudius killed Hamlets father which was revealed to Hamlet from his fathers ghost. Hamlet is then filled with a spirit of revenge, "“He took my father grossly, full of bread, with all his crimes broad blown, as flush as May; And how his audit stands, who knows save heaven.” But when he sees Claudius praying he cannot kill him believing that if he does Claudius will end up in Heaven. This proves to be a fatal mistake leading to all the tragedies in the play.Reason 3, Evidence 3, Commentary 3
