Cause of the War

Start of the War
The south feels like the northerners seems more aggressive in its anti-slavery views and contributed to their resentment, Which led up to the Civil War up coming. The reason we had The Missouri Compromise back then was to create a balance between slave and non-slave states which led them to adding Maine as a free state that balanced things out.

This war was fought over the moral issue of slavery, similar to the economics of slavery and somewhat political control that centralized the conflict but the big main idea is that it was fought over state rights.
