  • Hamlet debates whether he is better off dead or alive living through the pain.
  • Confessions for nothing
  • I confess my sins but know I cannot pray.
  • Hamlet talks to Ophelia and then finds out that she too is spying on him for the king and queen.

  • Hamlet asks for the players to make a play based on his fathers and Claudius's situation. He wants to see whether Claudius is guilty or not.
  • Reminder
  • Remember...
  • Claudius confesses his sins and asks for forgiveness but knows he won't be forgiven because he is still deciding to sin to not give up everything he has now. Hamlet decides to not kill him.
  • Hamlet talks to his mother making her realize how terrible she really is. She then feels uncomfortable and calls for help. Polonius, who was hiding behind curtains tries making a move but instead gets stabbed to death by Hamlet who thought he was Claudius.
  • The ghost appears to remind Hamlet to be nice and talk to his mother and let g=her deal with her guilt on her own and a reminder to continue seeking revenge on Claudius.
