  • I received an Email from the university that I was placed on academic probation, I was extremely disappointed in my performance and so were my parents.
  • Over the winter break I had time to think about what happened and came back into the spring semester with a changed mindset.
  • DO BETTER NEXT SMESTER!
  • Attended my first probation class not knowing what to expect. I did not want to make any friends in the class at the time, because my main focus was getting out of probation.
  • As the semester flew by, I was putting the correct effort in order to make my way out of probation. I was starting to see results, which are my grades increasing.

  • I kept on working hard throughout this semester, and I would say the moment I realized that I am actually doing well in school and that I am on the right track was when I passed and completed my finite math IvyTech course over spring break.
  • My overall mental health has improved drastically compared to the beginning of this semester. The stress and pressure is decreasing due to the increase in grades I was able to achieve.
  • Towards the end of the semester, I was able to accept that I was in academic probation and take advantage of that. This resulted in improved grades, time management, routine, and mental health.
