- Odysseus, why have you come from the light down here to speak with the dead.. Step away from the trench and put away your sword. Then let me drink of the blood and I will answer your questions.
- Odysseus meets his dead friend Teiresias in the underworld
- Teiresias!
- I know you wish to return home, but Poseidon still has his eye on you, for he still has a grudge. Still, after much suffering, you may get home if you restrain yourself if you restrain yourself and your companions when your ship reaches Thrinican Island. You will find sheep who belong to the sun, who can see and hear everything. Leave them unharmed, and think nothing but home, you may reach Ithaca.
- he tells him a prophecy to help him get home.
- Once you leave, you must get revenge on the suitors, and kill them. Take this token, find a wayfinder, and complete a ritual. then, all that I have said will be true, and your people will bless you.
- Teiresias gives him a coin that will hep him on his journey.
- Mother! Please tell me, for i have had many misfortunes, How did you die, and what of my father, and my son. Is my property still in their hands. And my wife, has she remarried, please tell me whats going on in her mind.
- Odysseus meets his dead mom in the underworld, and asks about her death and his family.
- She answers his questions.
- Your wife still remains i your home, your family still has control of your property, and as for my death, it was neither illness, nor heaven, It was my longing for you that killed me.
- Odysseus can not embrace his mother, for she is dead and cannot be touched.
