- Eww what is that? That smells nasty. You're so weird.
- I am sorry. I don't have enough time to make other dishes.
- Mom why do you have to pack me indian food all the time. It stinks and people make fun of me.
- Why can't I just be normal? I wish I could be normal like Sam.
- Why can't Sam except the things that are a part of my culture?
- Sam is always making fun of Jasmine because of the food she eats.
- Mom I don't think I can be friends with Sam. She always makes fun of me.
- I think you should make some new friends. Or tell her how you feel about the way she treats you.
- Jasmine asks her mom why she has to eat Indian food. Her mom is always working and she is a single mom.
- I do not like the way you treat me. If you want to be my friend you have to respect some parts of my culture.

- Jasmine wishes she could eat food that was considered normal. But then she realizes that its not her fault.
