- Thanks to Bonds we could afford war supplies
- The government increased taxes and Liberty Bonds to support the war and buy supplies for the battle fields.
- Food Rationing
- WE MUST RATION OUR FOOD FOR THE MEN IN THE TRENCHES!!
- Almost Half of America buys War Bonds, War Bonds you can buy for a certain amount of money and that money goes to the government. The Government then agrees to pay back anyone who buys them.
- Meatless Monday
- I'm sorry honey it's Meatless-Monday...
- With the money the government made from these implements they then spent this money on supplies to get an upper advantage on anyone else .
- Prohibition
- No more making alcohol because the government needs wheat for better things.
- Food Administration wanted to make sure the troops had enough food so they asked americans to grow more food on farms, grow food, waste nothing, and go without some food.
- With the food rationing this brought Meatless Mondays and Wheatless Wednesdays, this was in efforts to give more food towards the troops.
- Mommy i'm hungry...
- Prohibition was the act of banning the sale or manufacture of alcohol because the government needed wheat for other things on the other side of the ocean.
