- when shall we three meet again, in thunder lightning or in rain?
- all hail macbeth! hail to thee thane of glamis,all hail macbeth! hail to thee thane of cawdorall hail macbeth! who shalt be king hereafter!
- the three witches decide when they would like to meet again, this time with macbeth
- i establish our land upon our eldest malcolm
- king Duncan kills the thane of cawdor and announces macbeth will receive the title
- yet do i fear that thy nature,It is too full o’ th’ milk of human kindness
- is that a daggar i see before me?
- the three witches appear to macbeth and banquo and tell them about the future. macbeth seems confused as he knows he will have to kill the king
- the king announces that his son will be king once he dies. macbeth knows he must kill them both
- macbeth writes a letter to lady macbeth explaining everything to her and she asks the spirits to fill her with evil so she can help macbeth
- as macbeth is waiting for lady macbeth to give him the signal to go murder duncan , his mind makes him see a dagger that isn't actually there
