- We are both having boys !!
- STI's can occur whether my child is circumcised or not !Are you not concerned with procedure complications ?
- I know, I am so excited !
- Have you thought about getting him circumcised ? I read that it decreases the chances of future UTI's.
- I feel like every child is at risk for a UTI though. The procedure is painful and I could never put my son through that.
- But they use anesthesia and a topical numbing cream to ease the pain. You still wouldn't ?
- Oh no! There is not enough medicine or numbing cream out there to prevent that type of pain.Why put my son through that type of pain when he can live a healthy life without the procedure?
- I am just focusing on the health benefits. Studies show it helps with penial cancer and some STI's.
- I agree with that !
- Yes, there are risk for any procedure, but I believe the health benefits outweigh the risks.
- We can both have our opinions on the topic but I think the only thing that matters is that we both have healthy baby boys!
