- My name is Julius Caesar and I am a successful military leader who wants the crown of Rome. I have recently returned to Rome in triumph after a successful military campaign. I am charismatic, confident and powerful.
- My name is Brutus and I am a judicial magistrate of Rome. Caesar is my friend and I fear that he will become a tyrant. I have defeated Octavius' forces in the first battle at Philippi, but I lost the second battle. He commits suicide rather than be taken prisoner. I am naive and unsympathetic.
- My name is Cassius and I am the brother-in-law of Brutus. I am a talented general and longtime acquaintance of Caesar. I dislike the fact that Caesar has become godlike in the eyes of the Romans. My strengths are manipulation and politically savvy.
- My name is Antony and I am a friend of Caesar. At first, I am confidant and a devoted follower of Caesar. I offered Caesar a crown during the feast of Lupercal. I have a reputation for sensuous living, but I am also militarily accomplished, politically shrewd,and skilled at oration. I am great at persuading people.
