- Moses mother wanted to give Moses a chance at life, she snuck out, as the pharaohs soldiers went around and killed all of the young boys, in fear that they would overrule him when they turned into men.
- Moses' mother put baby Moses in a basket, so that he might float somewhere to safety and have a chance to live. Moses' mother sung him a song as she pushed him into the water.
- Moses' older sister Miriam followed him as he floated along the Nile River, Moses was peaceful in his basket.
