- Gilgamesh was left devasted after his best friend died. He now feared death and started his journey to find Utnapishtim who is supposed to give immortality. Utnapishtim is a God who can give Everlasting life to those who are worthy. Gilgamesh was determined to find him, Gilgamesh thought he was worthy enough.
- As it got dark Gilgamesh was getting tired he wanted to go to sleep but he was a bit hesitant at first. The reason was he saw some lions not too long ago. He prayed to the moon god for safety, then he drifted into a deep sleep.
- Unfortunately, his prayers didn't work, and was woken up by lions surrounding him. He took his ax and his sword and scared them away. Then he continued his journey and made it to mountain Mashu.
- Gilgamesh finally made it to Mashu mountain where there was a half-human, half-dragon guarding the gate. Gilgamesh was scared to arrpoach the gruard
