- Julius Caesar was born in Rome, in July 100 BC.He was the son of a aristocratic family.
- Now, you are the consul of the city!!!
- Yes, I am very happy!!!!
- At the age of six, he stertid his education with a private tutor, named Marcus Antonius Gnipho. He learned how to read and write.
- As I am the dictator of Rome I can order everybody.
- Build a temple there!!!!
- Cesar's father died when he was sixteen. He became the head of the family at the age of seventeen. He married Cornelia. The daughter of a powerful politician in Rome.
- At the age of 40 Julius Caesar was elected to consul . Consul was the highest ranking position in the Roman republic .The consul was like a president , but there were two consuls and they only served for one year.
- In 46 BC Caesar returned to Rome. The senate made him dictator for life. He built new buildings and temples. He even changed the calendar.
- As people was worried because of all the power that Caesar had, a group of people met to kill him. On march 15, 44 BC Caesar was killed by a group of people that was waiting for him.
