But when the temperature increases or decreases there could be changes in the states of matter.
A solid is a firm and stable in shape; not liquid or fluid. The molecules ina solid are close together

A gas is a state of matter distinguished from the solid and liquid by great expansion and contraction with changes in pressure and temperature.

A physical change is changes affecting the form of a chemical substance but not its chemical composition.
A chemical change is when the formula of a chemical substance it occurs a substance combines with another to form a new substance.
