Last Supper

- Hello, I am Jesus. Today my friends, I will tell you the story about the last supper. So let us begin.
- The people were celebrating a festival about Jesus called "Passover" that's been celebrated since the time of Moses when God brought his people out of Egypt
- Jesus was going to Jerusalem to celebrate and then the disciples asked Jesus:
- Where would you like to eat the Passover meal?
- As you go into the city, a man with a pitcher will go to a house and you shall follow that man. Tell the owner of the house "Where is the guest room for the Passover meal" He will take you upstairs to a large room and that is where we eat.
- Jesus arrived with the 12 disciples and everyone sat down and Jesus said "I am happy to be with everyone" and as they were eating, Jesus took bread and wine and blessed it. He said:
- Take it. For this is my blood and body. Eating my bread helps everyone remember me. And my blood, it is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive many people.
- But then Jesus said "One of you eating with me here, will betray me." He told them that things were supposed to happen this way but that sadness would await the one that betrays him. The disciples got very upset and the place got rowdy. But then Judas asked Jesus "Am I the one?" and Jesus said "You have said it." The disciples asked who it is and Jesus told them that it is the one who he would give bread to. He gave the bread to Judas and Jesus said "Hurry and do what you have to do." then Jesus comforted and encouraged the disciples and then they all sang a song to God together.
- And that is my story of the Last Supper. I truly hoped that it reached and warmed everyone's hearts. And may have bring you closer to God. Now farewell and thank you for listening to my story.
