Storyboard Text
- Hi, I am Yeh-Shen. When I was born my mother and father died. I now live with my stepmother.
- I usually go outside to feed the fish that I found one day sitting out next to the river. It always comes out and I feed it with the very little food my stepmother gives me to eat
- One day i went outside to find my fish gone. I then found that my stepmother had killed it. Later, I found myself looking up at a wise man that came out of no where. He told me that my fish's bones had a spirit that could grant me wishes when I was in need.
- I went upstairs to my room in the attic. I put my fishes bones on the widow and I started speaking to them. I wished to have food once and a while and one day I heard my stepmother talking about a ball to my stepsister downstairs I wished I could go but I didn't have a dress. I then had a plan. I wished for a dress to go to the ball and I was quickly covered with a nice dress and golden slippers that have a design as scales on a fish.
- I then went to the ball and noticed everyone looking at me. The king had an astonished gaze looking straight at me. I looked over to the left seeing my stepmother and step sister looking straight at me. I quickly ran out of the palace and climbed a big hill where I lost my golden slipper.
- The next day I went back to the mountain i had lost my shoe. When I picked it up I see the ing up on the hill looking at me from above. He then marries me in his palace. I then found out that my stepmother and stepsister had died. I was really sad but I moved on and lived a happy life.
