- Bill is 28 and working in an office for 8 hours a day 5 days a week. He hates his job and he doesn't get paid well. He is very depressed and does not have any friends, that's why when a couple of co-workers ask if he wants to hang out at their house after work he is excited and willing to go.
- I think i'm going to say yes
- At the "hangout" Cedella and her friend are passing around a joint, and others it to Bill.Bill is shocked, he's never smoked a cigarette let alone a joint, making this a thoughtful decision he is going to have to decide on his own.
- No thanks.
- You don't have to, we will still be your friends!
- His first instinct is to say yes, but the more he thinks about it the worst of an idea that is. Although he doesn't have much meaning to his life and is very lonely, he knows the potential health risks, which is why he might say no.
- If he says yes, he will have some friends, which will make his sad life much better, however, he will have to deal with some of the effects of smoking weed, likes psychosis. If he says no he will continue living his sad boring life.
- Bill says no, mostly because Cedella says they will still be his friend. This way he has some friends now and he doesn't have to deal with the negative impacts of smoking pot.
- Although his. new friends Cedella and Cynthia still do smoke Pot on the occasion, Bill has introduced them to some other activities that don't include AOD, like walking on the beach, and they enjoy this very much and don't judge Bill for not smoking with them.
