This is the first time Romeo and Juliet have met and they kissed after only knowing each other for a couple of minutes. This shows that Romeo and Juliet are truly madly in love allowing for their relationship to move extremely fast.
Act 3
When Romeo jumps the fence he overhears Juliet giving a monologue. She talks about how handsome and amazing Romeo is but Juliet does not know that Romeo is there listening in on her. Finally, Romeo reveals his presents, and Juliet is embarrassed. This is important because here is when Romeo and Juliet decided to get married.
Act 4
If, rather than to marry County Paris
O, bid me leap, rather than marry Paris
Tybalt fought with Mercutio. At the end of their battle, Tybalt killed Mercutio. When Romeo heard this he and Tybalt began to fight. Eventually, Romeo won and killed Tybalt. This is important because Romeo killing Tybalt comes with a big consequence from the prince.
Act 5
Beauty's ensign yet Is crimson in thy lips and in thy cheeks
Here the price is speaking with Lady Capulet and Montague about the sword fights. The Prince began by saying that he said that the next time something would happen that the offenders will pay with their lives. In the end, Romeo was only punished by being exiled. This is important because this causes a problem for Juliet, Romoe, and their relationship.
Immediately we do exile him hence
Romeo slew him; he slew Mercutio. Who now the price of his dear blood doth owe?
The Friar suggested for Juliet to marry Paris. Juliet doesn't want to marry Paris because she truly loves Romeo. So the Friar gives Juliet the sleeping liquid. This is important because this is the moment when horrible events will come from this one liquid.
Here Romeo goes to see Juliet laying in a tomb. He does not know that she is not dead but simple in a death-like state. So Romeo drinks the poison he purchases so that he can see his Juliet in the afterlife. This is important because after Romeo dies this causes Juliet to want to kill herself.
