- Romeo and Juliet first meet at a masked ball at the Capulet's home. Romeo sees Juliet from across the room and is immediately smitten by her. Romeo approaches Juliet and touches her hand. The two later fall in love and start a secret relationship despite the long lasting feud between their families.
- Juliets Fake death
- Romeo and Juliet declare their love for each other and decide to get married and be together. Romeo and Juliet get married in secret with the help of the nurse and Friar Laurence.
- Romeo and Juliet Kill Themselves
- Tybalt dies in the streets of Verona after a fight with Romeo. Romeo gets filled with rage after Tybalt murders Mercutio. Romeo murders Tybalt and as a result the prince banishes him from Verona.
- Capulet and Montague end their feud
- "As rich shall Romeo's by his lady's lie, poor sacrifices of our enmity!" (5.3. 303-304)
- Friar Laurence creates a plan for Juliet to drink a sleeping potion that will make it appear as if she is dead. This plan allows her to get out of marrying Paris and be with Romeo forever.
- "Romeo, I come! This do I drink to thee" (4.3. 58).
- When Romeo does not receive the letter that Friar Laurence wrote, he believes that Juliet is dead. He visits her in the tomb and drinks a potion, killing himself. When Juliet wakes up to find Romeo laying dead next to her, she stabs herself. The two would rather be dead than go on living without each other.
- After the death of Romeo and Juliet, Capulet and Montague finally agree to put their feuding to an end. They realise that their children were the poor sacrifices of their rival and that it should no longer continue.
