- All across the empire things could not be worse. External tribes are increasing hostilities at the border and are seemingly close to breaking through the defenses while civil war threatens to sunder the empire from within...
- Glorious news from the allies. supposedly the Romans are weak and have been for a while. This is the right time to attack.
