Most sugars are terrible. They contribute to Diabetes, Weight gain, unnecessary calories, and cavities. They are usually containing little to no nutrients. They are mostly made from sugar canes, and sugar beets. Sugar is from the sucrose of those plants.
This is how sugar is made. The sucrose from the plants is then boiled until it becomes thicker and crystals form. After taking out the crystals, molasses is made. The crystals go through washing and cleansing processes. After all of that, Sugar is made!
Despite all of the controversial thoughts about sugar, there has been more debates on different types of “Sugar” for other people.
They are called sweeteners, or a sugar substitute. It is used frequently for people suffering from diabetes, and for people who simply wants to eat less calories.
