- John we have just detected one of the biggest black hole jets in the sky, which has been spanning more than a million light years away!
- WOW Zena do we have any idea where it might be or which galaxy is nearby?!
- The galaxy its located by is NGC 2663 which is a mere 93 million light years away from us! This galaxy has ten times as many star as our galaxy so there's gonna be more bigger and better things over there!
- WOW space is truly amazing! Thats why its our job as training astronomers to find out more about this black hole jet!
- Yes john, we used the CSIRO to see where it is! Come closer and i'll explain more.
- With that we must've used theCSIRO's Australian Square Kilometer Array Pathfinder in order to find this jet. Its a super huge telescope so it'd have to be the one!
- Well john one of our radio waves has revealed a jet of matter that was shot out of the galaxy by a central black hole! If our eyes could see it in the night sky, it would be bigger than the Moon. Although astronomers have found jet matter before this is huge because its so large and so close to NGC 2663! Lets take a closer look!
- Well Zena we clearly have out-done ourselves. Im sure professor will be pleased and the public! Great job
- With that theres only so much we know about space! So little and yet luckily we found out about this before it left or we never knew about it!
