  • You’ve probably been told not to do drugs before, but do you know why you shouldn’t? Drug misuse, abuse, and addiction can lead to many problems involving your life and health. To help you understand better here is an example.
  • *Actually after just one dose you can experience short-term effects of drugs such as changes in appetite, wakefulness, heart rate, blood pressure, and the likelihood of heart attacks, strokes, overdose, and even death increase.
  • What’s the harm in trying it once?!
  • Do you guys wanna smoke?
  • Candace and Jerry started to feel the pleasurable effects of drug use. Little did they know it would end with them feeling more down, depressed, anxious, and tired than before.
  • Candace and Jerry continued to use drugs to keep the highs and push away the lows. This is called being addicted.
  • Jerry and Candace’s addiction led to a marijuana tolerance, and changes to the brain leading to mood, memory, intellectual capacity, and emotion problems.
  • *Other long-term effects Candace and Jerry could experience are heart disease, cancer, mental illness, and many more.
