- I got used to railroads and trains, and was told that I would be sold soon.
- A man named Squire Gordon came to look at me, and he seemed to like me.
- I thought he would be a very kind master.
- He seems like a fine horse. I'll buy him.
- I'll miss you, Blackie! Be a good horse.
- I'll never forget you! You are one of the best masters a horse could have.
- And so, I met my second master and started my life as a carriage horse.
