  • The main characters are Mary Maloney and Patrick Maloney the setting is the Maloney household. mary Maloney is waiting for her husband to return from work.
  • Falling action
  • You guys can have some lamb, you must be starving.
  • The rising action of this story is when Mary Maloney is upset because her husband broke up with her. She gets angry and kills him with a leg of lamb. She then attempts to make an alibi for herself by visiting a store. Mary then calls the police.
  • Resolution
  • The climax occurred in the story when the police are searching the house and they say the weapon must have been heavy, meaning its probably still in the house.
  • Conflict
  • The falling action is when the police eat the leg of lamb that the murder was commited with.
