Storyboard Text
- Liam, a high-mass star, was a new star who was created from the contracting of a cloud with gas and dust known as a nebula.
- Later, Liam became a little older and turned into a high-mass protostar. In this stage, he is almost old enough to become a star but is not quite hot enough yet.
- Next, Liam goes to his third stage of life where he changed from a protostar to a star. He moved into the main sequence star group because he was now capable to burn hydrogen in his core.
- A few years later, Liam outgrew the main sequence star phase and became one of the biggest stars in the galaxy. He began running out of fuel as a main sequence star, and consequently changed into a red supergiant because of his now much larger size.
- Unfortunately, Liam became too big of a star, turned into a supernova, and exploded. Now he has an important choice to make: become a black hole or become a neutron star.
- In the end, he decided to become the final stage of a high-mass star, which is a neutron star. This significantly reduced his size and increased his mass. Liam now remains the core left over from the supernova and travels around the universe in search of other stars like him.
