  • A History Full Of Good Deeds
  • You can't just become the world’s largest conservation organization by doing nothing. And while WWF, which currently holds this title, may have not made the biggest or most popular projects, it has done Mother Nature several good deeds. One of these deeds is saving up to 48 animals from becoming extinct and mere memories. From the giant manta rays of the oceans to the cheetahs of the Savannah, WWF has worked in 100 countries and in several types of environments, most notably forests, oceans, and wetlands. The NGO's headquarters are Gland, Switzerland, and have said on several occasions that their long-term vision is simple: to create world where people and nature thrive.
  • Now time to answer the driving question: How can we seventh graders make a difference in our community? After reading about an inspirational NGO like WWF, one's brain will be full of ways he can help Earth, but its not that simple; it needs dedication and help from others. That is why we seventh graders, with the help of our school, have a big chance in making a difference. We can start by planting trees and cleaning up sites like forests and gardens. Then we can improve our ways by planting recycling bins all over town. This will significantly reduce land pollution. Alone, it might be hard, but soon the word will spread throughout the city, and soon enough everyone will be helping.
